Instrument Valve Manifolds
- Maximum working pressure:
Stainless steel, Alloy C-276: 414 bar (6000 psig)
Alloy 400: 345 bar (5000 psig)
PTFE packing: -54°C to 232°C (-65°F to 450°F)
Graphite packing: -54°C to 649°C (-65°F to 1200°F)
- Internal orifice: 4.0 mm (0.157"); Flow coefficient (Cv): 0.35
- Two-piece stem design: Upper stem threads are specially hardened; lower stem is polished and hardened.
- The lower stem moves linearly instead of rotating, significantly reducing total friction area per stroke.
- Non-rotating lower stem prevents galling between the valve tip and seat during closure caused by rotational compression.
- Stem thread grease is isolated from process media.
- Valve features back-seating in fully open position.
- Handles secured with screws at both ends for stability and durability.
