The UTZ type magnetic float level gauge mainly consists of three parts: gauge body, float and indicator. Based on the principles of buoyancy and magnetic field action, a float is installed inside the gauge body. Driven by liquid buoyancy, the float moves up and down following liquid level changes.
A permanent magnet is built into the float. The magnetic field force drives the external indicator to act and display the realtime liquid level.
The indicator is available in flap type, vacuum type and LED type.
Flap and vacuum indicators are composed of neatly arranged rotors with small magnetic inserts, which are designed in redwhite or redgreen color combinations. The rotors are made of plastic or ceramic, and the color boundary directly indicates the liquid level height.
The LED indicator adopts red and green LEDs; the gas section is displayed in red and the liquid section in green to clearly indicate the liquid level.
The gauge body is entirely made of stainless steel, and the float adopts stainless steel or highstrength titanium alloy. It features oxidation resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and nonmagnetic property, suitable for various special working conditions in petrochemical, power and other industries.
When the operating temperature exceeds 120 ℃, ceramic rotors are adopted for flap indicators, which offer high mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and aging resistance, ensuring longterm stable and reliable operation under hightemperature and corrosive conditions.
A variety of optional functions enable wide application. Users may select appropriate configurations according to onsite working conditions.
Optional Functions
Antifrost Function
Suitable for liquid level measurement at -196 ℃~0 ℃. Lowtemperature liquid easily causes frost or ice on the gauge surface and blocks observation. The antifrost type is equipped with an acrylic protective window in front of the indicator and overall thermal insulation materials, ensuring clear and accurate liquid level observation.
Tracing Heating Function
Suitable for highviscosity or lowboilingpoint media. A jacket is installed on the gauge body.
For highviscosity and easily solidified liquid, steam or hot medium is introduced into the jacket to balance the temperature and obtain accurate liquid level.
For lowboiling and easily vaporized liquid, cooling water is fed into the jacket to stabilize the liquid surface and guarantee measuring precision.
Vacuum Jacket Function
An outer sleeve made of highcorrosionresistant stainless steel is installed and vacuumized by special technology. It isolates the measured medium from the ambient atmosphere with excellent cold and heat insulation performance. It is especially applicable to lowtemperature cold insulation and hightemperature heat isolation working conditions while maintaining stable measuring accuracy.
Corrosionresistant Function
Used for strongly corrosive chemical media. The whole gauge is made of anticorrosion resin. Targeted anticorrosion materials such as FRP and PVC are selected for different corrosive media to ensure safe and reliable service.
Remote Transmission Function
Equipped with remote transmitter and onsite indicator, it realizes central liquid level monitoring in the control room, and supports high / low level alarm and liquid level interlock control.
