Description

Bar Stock Needle Valve, BN60

  • Two-piece stem design: The upper stem threads are specially hardened, and the lower stem surface is roller burnished for hardening.
  • The lubricant on the upper stem threads is isolated from the process media.
  • The non-rotating lower stem moves linearly up and down instead of rotating during travel, reducing packing friction per stroke and minimizing galling between the seat and the plug.
  • The valve provides back-seating functionality in the fully open position.
  • Panel mountable.
  • Each valve is helium leak-tested at rated working pressure prior to shipment.
  • Maximum Working Pressure

Stainless Steel: 414 bar (6000 psig)

   F91, Alloy C-276: 414 bar (6000 psig)

  • Operating Temperature

   With PTFE packing: -54°C to 232°C (-65°F to 450°F)

   With PEEK packing: -54°C to 260°C (-65°F to 500°F)

   With graphite packing: -54°C to 649°C (-65°F to 1200°F)

 High Pressure Needle Valve, HN100

  • One-piece forged body construction
  • Two-piece stem design. The upper stem threads are specially hardened, and the lower stem surface is roller burnished and hardened.
  • The grease for the upper stem threads is isolated from the process
  • Non-rotating lower stem moves linearly instead of rotating during operation, reducing packing wear per stroke and eliminating galling between the seat and plug.
  • The valve provides backseating function in the fully open position.
  • Panel mountable.
  • Each valve is factory leak-tested with nitrogen at the rated working pressure.
  • Maximum Working Pressure
