Calibration techniques and equipment are critical to ensuring accurate flowmeter measurement. Wind tunnel testing is the most effective means for fluid calibration of differential pressure flowmeters.
The sensor under calibration is placed in the wind tunnel. By setting different wind speeds, the measured flow of the flowmeter is compared with the standard flow of the wind tunnel.
Based on the test data, flowmeter parameters are corrected to further improve overall quality and ensure high measurement accuracy.
